Kaiunkoh is translated to mean "Opening the Door to Bring Good Fortune". In the practices of meditation it has long since been a goal to open the doorway back to our innate self. Sutras refer to this as "knowing the self as it truly is". This ancient formula contains a very dense Aloes Wood and is highly resinous. Made from sandalwood, aloes wood, borneo camphor, clove and Chinese Spices.

"Kai" means To Open, "Un" means Luck, "Koh" means Incense.

Kokonoe is an expression for the Imperial Palace. This must be the flower garden of some exotic princess, perhaps Akiko herself! This incense is made using Aloes Wood and florals from Indonesia.

Makko, (Ground incense) is a finely ground powder which is now used as a base to burn raw incense upon. Traditionally it was spread on the floors of temples or meditation area in order to keep away pests and disease. One sutra gives Clove, Sandalwood, Aloes wood, Frankincense, Borneol, Mustard seeds, and Nutmeg as a mixture to use.
