Appearance: colorless to pale yellow liaquid with an aromatic somewhat camphoraceous odor. Clear, sharp & piercing.

Chemical Constituents:
Citronella (Aldehyde), Cineole (Ketone), Camphene, Fenchene, Phellandrene, Pinene (Terpenes).

Properties:
Analgesic, Anti-inflammatory, Antirheumatic, Antiseptic, Antispasmodic, Antiviral, Bactericide, Balsamic, Decongestant, Expectorant, Insecticide, Vulnerary.

Mind:
Has a cooling effect upon the emotions. Also, clears the head, may aid concentration and strengthens the nervous system.

* Pharmaceutically, it is the most important (type) of all the Cineole types of eucalyptus.

* The main use of E.globulus is flavoring of cough drops, vaporizers, mouth gargles, toothpaste, etc., It is best known for its decongestant inhalation for colds.

** According to TCM, Eucalyptus is an exceptional remedy for clearing lung-phlegm and wind-heat. Which would make this oil beneficial for the onset of flu or fever, sore throat, the common cold, sinusitis and chronic bronchitis.

It is classified as a tonic of the lung Qi and is used to enhance the breathing function, promoting the uptake of oxygen by the red blood cells.

* It is a comparatively stable in soap and it has a powerful 'lifting' effect upon the other ingredients in the soap perfume.

Blends well with:
Benzoin, Coriander, Juniper, Lavender, Lemon, Lemongrass, Melissa, Pine, Thyme.

Storage Recommendations:
Store in tight glass in a cool area away from direct sunlight.

Precautions:
A powerful oil so care should be taken with dosage. Best avoided on people suffering from high blood pressure or epilepsy. May antidote homeopathic medication. Avoid application on infants.
