Workshops for 2005
We are planning our
2005 schedule for workshops. If there is a workshop
that you would like to see us hold here, please, write
and let us know.
Our Introduction to Perfumery Level 1 was a joyful
experience for me. It is a joy to share time with
those of like mind who share my passion. We already
started a list for those that unable to attend this
workshop, and Gail is putting together Perfumery
Level 2.
This & That ~
From the Cookson Market Report ~
Grapefruit Oil:
Supplies dwindle even as prices continue advancing!!
Commentary: The election is over, the Yankees lost,
Arafat is dead and Osama is still out there: everyday
more U.S. public companies are accused of fraud and
the price of grapefruit oil continues to rise.
What's next?
Rosewood Oil: Meanwhile, for the environmentalists,
don't forget you can now subscribe to the
Brazilian 'Adopt a Rosewood Oil Tree' program.
Conceptually this is similar to 'Adopt a broker'
program except a Rosewood tree takes 15-20 years
to mature.
(side note: SunRose does NOT sell Rosewood oil as it
is on the endangered list)
^^^^^^^^
And so, another wheel of the year is coming to an
end.
Many new changes here with the completion of
SunRose physical space. Our first workshop which
was so exciting meeting people we normally only
email with.
Though the economy was not the best, we are
holding our own thanks to the continued support of
our client base.
The new AromaStone and other new products which
we are happy to source and bring to you.
The elections this year .. well, let's not go there.
Our young men & women overseas are in our
prayers and hopefully, will return home soon.
For those of you who have lost loved ones, this is a
difficult time of year. Let your inner circle of family
and friends help you thru this painful time.
I would like to give thanks .. for we still have a
freedom, especially as women, that many of our
sisters around the globe do not share in. Though I do
believe it is time that our 'voices' be heard.
Remember that this is a difficult time of year for
many .. the stress of the holidays, being alone, etc.
If you see a friend or family member looking down and
out a sorts sometimes just listening will help.!
Special thanks to my family and friends for their
support this year .. My Mom's passing was
devastating ... without you all it would have been
overwhelming.
To my loyal and wonderful Staff ~ Sheila & Adrienne
~ Thank you for all you do!!
And of course .. Ms Kim .. my webdesigner .. for
your patience and kindness this past year!! You are
the best Kim!!
~ til next time!
