A hands on workshop with Gail Adrian, Fragranceur

Registration Fee: $180.00 includes ALL materials used in the workshop.

This Level I Workshop is designed to inspire and direct your innate creativity:

* Using classical techniques and theories of perfume building, each participant will create a personal perfume composition.
* The basic vocabulary of perfumery will be explored to allow familiarization with the terminology of perfumery.

Gail Adrian will teach and expand on the basic theory of aromatic harmonics, chordal evolution and perfume notes.

* Through a variety of exercises, participants will begin training how to think like a creative perfume artist.
* The historical precedents that have influenced scent building will be reviewed.

SunRose Aromatics has recently expanded its space to include a warm and airy learning annex.

In addition to the palette provided with this Introduction to Perfumery Workshop Level I, there will be ample opportunity to purchase additional perfume and aromatherapy supplies from SunRose's extensive inventory.

Expanded hands - on seminar/workshop that continues the material and exercises began in Level I.

Level II is designed to facilitate greater mastery around the materials of Natural Perfumery through:

* Emphasis on building a personal palette of accords.
* Exercises in the technique of diluting raw materials into varying strengths
* Creating personal accords.
* In-depth analysis of each participant's work (As time allows)

Each participant will have the opportunity to create a number of personal accords that will be analyzed and examined for harmony, balance, strength, and application.

This is a nurturing workshop designed to acknowledge every each participant's strengths while experientially addressing the creative challenges of natural perfumery.
