Helpful Health Tips to maintain proper skin care in the winter months.

Courtesy of the America Academy of Dermatology - to combat dry, itchy skin which is common in the winter months ~ moisturize!

* Apply moisturizers within 3 mintues of exiting a bath or shower.
* Wear and reapply a sunscreen to combat the damaging rays of the sun, which is usually reflected by snow.
* Use a lip balm to prevent chapped lips
* Use a humidifier to keep the humidity in your house higher in winter months.
* Dab your favorite Carrier Oil on problem areas to heal dry skin.
* After washing hands, immediately apply hand cream to seal in moisture.
